Wilma Olive
A celebration of life for former longtime Holly and Lamar resident, Wilma Olive will be held at 10:00AM on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at the Peacock Family Chapel with Steve Knobbe officiating. Interment will follow in Fairmount Cemetery.
Visitation for Wilma will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at the Peacock Family Chapel.
Wilma was born on September 1, 1926 at St. Louis, Missouri to William and Anita (Kasten) Hamersmeier and passed away on November 15, 2015 at her home in Lakewood at the age of 89.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Stewart W. Olive; her parents; her son, Stewart Olive, Jr.; brother, Irvin Hamersmeier and sister, Anita Moon.
Wilma is survived by her two children, Stewart (Audrey) Olive of Windsor, CO and Susan (Larry) Hoch of Lakewood, CO; three grandchildren, Jessica (Kory) Larson of Ft. Collins, CO; Heather Hoch and Amanda Hoch both of Denver, CO and her three great-grandchildren, Stewart “Quentin” Olive-Larson; Cooper Olive-Larson and Kieran Larson all of Ft. Collins, CO. Numerous other family and friends also survive.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice and/or First Baptist Church in Lamar.
