William “Bill” Branom
A Memorial Service for lifelong Bent County resident, William “Bill” Branom was held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 11, 2013 at the Hasty Friends Church with Pastor Gary Pritchard officiating.
Per Bill’s request cremation has taken place and there was no public viewing.
Mr. Branom was born on December 31, 1927 at Hasty, Colorado to Leonidas and Zelda Ailetha (Longacre) Branom and passed away at his home with his family by his side on April 7, 2013 at the age of 85.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother; Don Branom and a sister-in-law Donna Branom.
Bill is survived by his wife Peggy of the family home in McClave, children; Mary Ann (Jeff) Turner of McClave, Susan (Mark) Menz of Hasty, Mandy (James) Torrez of Denver and Troy Branom of Lamar. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren; Chance, Tayla, Wacey, Sara, Brandon (Samantha), Tyler (Jennifer), Jenna, Kaila and Jaidyn as well as 4 great grandchildren; Tymprence, Cymberlee and twins Olivia and Zoey. Bill’s siblings Lawrence Branom of McClave, Samuel (Susan) Branom of Ft. Morgan, CO and Arleta Allen of McClave, other relatives and many friends also survive.
Memorial Contributions may be made to either the Hasty Friends Church or to the Lamar Area Hospice direct or in care of the funeral home office.
