A memorial celebration of life for longtime Lamar resident, Wayne M. Stokke was held at 1:00PM on Monday, March 14, 2016 at the Peacock Family Chapel with Wayne Stokke’s family officiating.
Per Wayne’s request cremation has taken place and there was no visitation.
Wayne was born on October 10, 1931 at Grand Forks, North Dakota to Emil and Mabel (Johnson) Stokke and passed away on March 10, 2016 at his home in Lamar with his family by his side at the age of 84.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Daphne Stokke, his parents and his brothers, Ernest, Art and Russel.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Fern Stokke of the family home in Lamar; children, Pam, Kris, Kimber and Kristjaan “Kritch”; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild and one great-grandchild on the way.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army and/or Toys for Tots either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
