A graveside celebration of life for longtime Lamar resident, Walter H. Entz will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, April 17, 2017 at the Fairmount Cemetery with Pastor Harold Bohl officiating.
Per Walter’s request cremation will take place and there will be no visitation.
Walter was born on September 20, 1936 at Syracuse, Kansas to Will and Maxine (Jones) Entz and passed away on April 12, 2017 at the Holly Nursing Care Center at the age of 80.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Entz, his parents, and his siblings, Charlie Entz and Clara Entz.
Walter is survived by his children, Duane (Teresa) Entz and Barb Long all of Lamar, grandchildren, Chris, Ashley, Levi, Jessica, Cori, Cody and Brendan as well as six great-grandchildren with one on the way. He is also survived by his siblings, Jean Entz, Norma Schale and Bob Entz as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lamar Area Hospice either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
