A celebration of life memorial service for former Lamar, Colorado resident currently of Denver, Colorado Timothy L. “Tim” Lucero will be held at 10:00AM on Monday, February 25, 2019 at the Peacock Funeral Home. Inurnment of the ashes will be held at 1:30PM on Monday, February 25, 2019 at the Valley View Cemetery in Rocky Ford, Colorado.

Per Tim’s request cremation will take place and there will be no visitation.

Tim was born on January 19, 1964 at Pueblo, Colorado to Leopoldo and Consuelo Maria (Sigala) Lucero and passed away on February 19, 2019 at his brother’s home in Lamar with his family by his side at the age of 55.

He is preceded in death by his father, Leopoldo Lucero and his step-father, Alvaro Hernandez.

Tim is survived by his spouse, Sherie Montano of Denver, Colorado; children, Joshua (Trish Hernandez) Lucero; Lacey Lucero and Michael Lucero and a step-son, Max Montano all of Denver, CO; grandchildren, Legend Lucero, Jason Aragon and Ryan Hernandez all of Denver, CO and his mother, Connie Hernandez of San Antonio, TX. He is also survived by his siblings, Erlene (Lupe Flores) Lucero; Dorothy (Russ Rich) Lucero and Leo (Kathy) Lucero all of Lamar; Carlos (Dena) Lucero of Sterling, CO; Judy (Mohammed) Abdo of Atlanta, GA; Chris (Lidia) Montanez of Lamar; Charlene (Juan) Simental and Lorenzo (Maria) Hernandez all of Orlando, FL; Laura (Servando) Garcia of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Andrea (Reyad) Hernandez and Gabriela (Raphael) Pacheco all of San Antonio, TX and his nephew whom he grew up with, Joseph (Catrina) Lucero of Lakewood, Colorado as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and a host of friends.

Services are under the direction of the Peacock Family.
