Theodore Goodner

Theodore C. Goodner, Jr.      

            A memorial service for longtime Lamar resident Theodore C. Goodner, Jr. will be held at a later date.

            Theodore was born on February 25, 1935 in Rocky Ford, Colorado to Theodore C. and Gladys (Jensen) Goodner, Sr. and passed away on July 25, 2023 at his home in Lamar with his family by his side at the age of 88.

            He is preceded in death by his wife, Clarice Jean “C.J.” Goodner and his parents.

            Theodore is survived by his children Tracy Gritt and Lory Ann Goodner both of Canada, Melinda Davis of Gunnison, CO, Tom Holler of Gunnison, CO, LeeAnn Holler of Missouri and Lisa Dennis of Gunnison, CO and step-children Linda (Douglas) Van Zyl of Bayfield, CO, Sharon (Paul) Sigrist of Grand Junction, CO, Bernard (Barbara) Goetz of Wetmore, CO, and Lacey Goetz (Tom Swanson) of Centennial, CO, twelve grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. He is also survived by numerous other family and a host of friends.  

            Memorial contributions may be made to the Lamar Area Hospice either direct or in care of the funeral home.
