A Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Lamar resident Terri Pankey will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, January 7, 2016 at the Lamar Church of Christ with Bon May officiating. Interment of her ashes will take place at the Hillside Cemetery in Granada, Colorado.
Terri was born on August 30, 1952 at Lamar, Colorado to Pinkney W. and Margaret Eleanor (Hoffman) Pearson and passed away on December 30, 2015 at the University Hospital in Denver, Colorado at the age of 63.
She is preceded in death by his parents Pinkney and Margaret E. “Margy” Pearson and his sister, Kimbra D. Pearson.
Terri is survived by her husband of 44 years, Roy Pankey of the family home in Lamar; son Tanner (Janine) Pankey; grandchildren, Cade Pankey and Gaige Pankey all of Lamar; siblings, Mike Pearson of Pueblo, CO and Shannon Venturi of Granada. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and numerous friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lamar Area Hospice and/or Southeast Colorado Cancer Initiative either direct or in care of the funeral home.
