Susana F. “Candie” Stegman
A funeral liturgy for longtime Lamar resident, Susana F. Stegman, affectionately known as Candie, will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at the Peacock Family Chapel. Interment will follow at the Fairmount Cemetery in the Veteran’s Section.

Visitation for Candie will be held from 1:00PM until 7:00PM on Monday, September 24, 2018 at the Peacock Family Chapel.

Candie was born in May 21, 1945 at Lamar, Colorado to Pasqual M. and Josephine D. (Jara) Orozco and passed away on September 18, 2018 at her son’s home in Wiley at the age of 73 with her family by her side.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Stegman, daughter, Deana Stegman, son, Paulie Stegman, granddaughter, Courtney Gilliland, her parents and her siblings, Pasqual Orozco, Jr. Sr. Theresa Orozco and Raymond Orozco.

Candie is survived by her children, Tony (Deborah) Stegman of Wiley, JoDel (Carl) Krone of Lamar, Tim (Kim) Stegman of Evans, CO, Kirk (Jeanie Marston) Stegman and Keith (Kristell) Stegman all of Lamar, nineteen grandchildren and twenty-six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, L. Denise Orozco-Estep of Lamar and Vincent R. Orozco of MN as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Lamar Area Hospice either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
