A Funeral Mass for lifelong Hartman Resident, Simona Fernandez will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, March 12, 2010 at the St. Francis De Sales/Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Reverend Charlie Sena officiating. An Evening Rosary will be held on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 7:00PM with Deacon Henry Wertin reciting. The Rite of Committal will follow the Mass at
Hartman
Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 from 12:00PM until 5:00PM and Thursday, March 11, 2010 from 10:00AM until 5:00PM at the Peacock Family Chapel.
Simona was born on February 18, 1914 at Hartman, Colorado to Gregorio and Prajedes (Munoz) Fernandez and passed away at

Center on March 6, 2010 at the age of 96.
Simona is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers; Jess, Mike, John and Gregorio Fernandez, sisters;
Anastacia Martinez, Victoria Perez, and Catalina Fernandez. She is also preceded by her niece, Florence Florez.
She is survived by her special nieces and nephews; Peggy (Rex) Dennis of Hartman, Colorado, Angela (Thedore) Herrera of Greeley, Colorado, Josie (Raul) Dominguez of Lamar, Alice (Joe) Baca of Lamar, Valerie Fernandez of Loveland, Colorado, Virginia (Manuel) Herrera of Greeley, Colorado, Steve (Petra) Fernandez of Windsor, Colorado, Mary Upham of Jacksonville, Florida, Tony (Virginia) Fernandez of Lamar, Emma (Alfonso) Gonzales of Turlock, California, Robert (Dolores) Fernandez of Brighton, Colorado, Joe (Kathleen) Fernandez of Pen Valley, California, Rose Fernandez of Englewood, Colorado and Frances (George) Benabides of Lamar. Simona is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other family and friends.
