A celebration of life memorial service for longtime Lamar resident, formerly of Longmont, Colorado, Sherry J. Eastin will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the Wiley United Methodist Church with Reverend Travis Walker officiating.
Per Sherry’s request cremation will take place and there will be no visitation.
Sherry was born on May 14, 1946 in Wichita, Kansas to Ivan Oscar and Rubye Inez (Cobble) Mitchell and passed away on December 11, 2018 at her home in Lamar with her family by her side at the age of 72.
She is preceded in death by her parents as well as many other loved ones that have passed before her.
Sherry is survived by her husband, John Eastin of the family home in Lamar, children, Jeff Eastin of Los Angeles, CA and Dave (Nichole) Eastin of Wiley and her grandchildren, Brittni Eastin and Caden Eastin both of Wiley. She is also survived by her sister, Jody (Jack) Glasgow of Longmont, CO as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lamar Area Hospice either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
Services are under the direction of the Peacock Family.
