A Rosary Service for San Antonio, TX resident, formerly of Lamar Rolando Mata will be held at 9:30 AM, Monday, July 25, 2016 at the St. Francis De Sales/Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Stan Ybarra reciting. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 AM with Reverend John Nkwocha as celebrant. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
Mr. Mata was born on January 21, 1964 at Uvalde, Texas to Juan Mata and Josephine Bosquez and passed away in San Antonio, TX on July 18, 2016 following an accident at the age of 52.
Rolando is preceded in death by his brother Hubert Mata, great grandfather Segundo Bosquez, Sr., great grandmother Clemencia Bosquez and his longtime friend Jack Freed.
He is survived by his mother Josephine Bosquez and his step-father Juan Robles both of Lamar, father Juan Mata of St. Paul, MN, siblings; Maria Mata of Pueblo, CO, Armando (Liz) Bosquez of Lamar, Delfina (Raul) Perales of Lamar, Ramon Robles of Denver, Juanita Robles of Pueblo and Jose Alfredo Robles of Denver. Rolando is also survived by grandmother Elva Marry of Lubbock, TX, 20 nieces and nephews, 22 grand nieces and nephews, numerous aunts and uncles other relatives and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
