Robert E. “Bob” Gruenloh
A Mass of Christian burial for longtime Lamar resident, Robert E. Gruenloh affectionately known to many as Bob, was held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at the St. Francis de Sales/Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Lamar. Reverend Charlie Sena was the celebrant and burial followed in the Fairmount Cemetery in Lamar.
A rosary service led by Steven Injoalu was held at 6:00 PM Tuesday, January 28, 2014 prior to the Mass also at the Church.
Visitation for Bob was held from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at the Peacock Family Chapel.
Bob was born on June 3, 1938 at Lamar, Colorado to Arthur and LaVerne (Weis) Gruenloh and passed away on January 20, 2014 at his nieces home in Lamar at the age of 75.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother; Jim Gruenloh.
Bob is survived by his nieces and nephews; Marvin (Alisha) Gruenloh of Lamar, Gail (Marvin) Koeller of Sheridan Lake, CO, Gwen (Bob) Krum of Lamar, Terri (Dell) Hendricks of Tioga, TX, Bev (Brian) Wurst, Shirley (Russ) Anderson all of Lamar, and Earle Pittman of Longmont. He is also survived by his sister; Mary Ann Pittman of Boulder and sister-in-law; Elvira Gruenloh of Lamar and his grand nieces and nephews; Riley, Parker, Lexi, Megan and Cade Wurst; Vincent and Ryan Koeller; Collette, Korbyn and Luc Montgomery; Bart and Ross Gruenloh and Jimmy Hendricks.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Lamar Area Hospice or to the St. Francis De Sales/Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
