Robert “Bobby” Hernandez
A mass of Christian Burial for longtime Lamar resident, Robert Hernandez, affectionately known to his family and friends as Bobby, will be held at 10:00AM on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at the St. Francis de Sales/Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic church with Reverend Wojciech Pelczarski as celebrant. A rosary service will be held prior to the mass at 9:30AM at the church with Deacon Allan Medina reciting. Interment will follow at the Riverside Cemetery in Lamar.
Visitation for Bobby will be held from 1:00PM until 5:00PM on Monday, June 25, 2018 at the Peacock Family Chapel.
Bobby was born on February 19, 1927 at Wiley, Colorado to Bonifacio and Josephine Hernandez and passed away on June 22, 2018 at the Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado at the age of 91.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Regina Hernandez, daughter, Rachael Hernandez, his parents as well as numerous siblings.
Bobby is survived by his children, Robert (Debbie) Hernandez, Jr. of Longmont, CO, Esther (Rich) Lingle of Lamar and Andrew (Sylvia) Hernandez of Pueblo, CO; eleven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Francis de Sales/Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
Services are under the direction of the Peacock Family.
