A Funeral Mass for Lamar resident, Rachael Ann DeLaRosa will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, November 28, 2011 at the St. Francis De Sales/Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Reverend Damasus Okoro officiating. A Rite of Committal service will be held at
Riverside
Cemetery.
A rosary/scripture service for Rachael will be held at 9:30 AM Monday November 28, 2011 also at St. Francis De Sales/Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
Visitation for Rachael will be held from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM Saturday, November 26, 2011 at the Peacock Funeral Home and prior to the rosary/scripture service on Monday.
Mrs. DeLaRosa was born on April 1, 1953 in Lamar, Colorado to Robert A. and Regina (Reyes) Hernandez and passed away at the University of Colorado Medical Center in
Aurora on November 22, 2011 at the age of 58.
She is preceded in death by mother “Reggie” Hernandez and a sister Carmen Lara.
Rachael is survived by her children; Anthony (Ramona) Marez of Pueblo, CO; Matt DeLaRosa of Lamar, and Vanessa (Mario) DeLaRosa-Torrez of
Aurora. Her significant other Virgil Cochran of Lamar, her father Robert Hernandez, Sr. of Lamar as well as eleven grandchildren, siblings; Esther (Rich Lingle) Whisenand of Lamar, Andrew (Sylvia Benabides) of Pueblo, Robert (Debbie) Hernandez, Jr. of
Longmont, other family and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Rachael DeLaRosa Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home office.
