A celebration of life memorial service for longtime Lamar resident, Nada M. Renken will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at the Lamar First Baptist Church with Reverend Darren Stroh officiating.
Per Nada’s request cremation will take place and there will be no visitation.
Nada was born on April 30, 1952 at Edmonton, Alberta, Canada to Francis Bruce and Ruth Hoffhines-Bruce and passed away on Monday July 9, 2018 at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, CO at the age of 66.
Nada was preceded in death by her parents.
Nada is survived by her husband – Mike Renken of the family home in Lamar; by two children – Erin (Matt) Lewallen and Jeremy (Anna) Renken all of Denver; by four granddaughters – Emerson and Zoe Lewallen and Nola Jane and Miller Grace Renken; and by two sisters – Harriet (Bill) Pool of Lindsay, OK and Deahn (Ron) Wilson of Balsam Lake, Ontario, Canada as well as by several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.
The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the Lamar Public Library either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
