A celebration of life memorial service for lifelong Lamar and Wiley resident, Monty P. Walls will be held at 2:00PM on Monday, October 1, 2018 at the Peacock Family Chapel with Pastor Mike Schneider of the Wiley Community Church officiating. The family requests that everyone dress casual and informal.
Per the family’s request cremation will take place and there will be no visitation.
Monty was born on May 31, 1956 at Lamar, Colorado to Oliver Perry and Mable Ruth (Bickford) Walls and passed away on September 26, 2018 at the age of 62.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Jeff Walls.
Monty is survived by his wife; Nita Walls of the family home in Wiley, his sons, Morgan (Katey) Walls of Elkhart, KS and Garrett (Shannon Oligo) Walls of Aurora, CO and a grandson, Scout Walls of Elkhart, KS. He is also survived by his brother, Danny (Marita) Walls of Elkhart, KS as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
Services are under the direction of the Peacock Family.
