           Per Mitchell’s request cremation has taken place and there will be no services at this time.

            Mitchell was born on September 11, 1950, in Lamar, Colorado to Archie and Norma Shields and passed away on February 19, 2025 at the age of 74 in Akron, Colorado.

            Mitchell graduated from Lamar High School in 1968.

             He is preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Norma Shields, brother Russell A. Shields and grandson Michael R. Shields.

             He is survived by his wife Jodel Shields, son Chris and Crystal Shields, daughter Michele Shields, daughter Chambri White, grandchildren Dereck and Karla Shields, Kalee and Chris Flippin, Jadyn and Janessa White, and three great-grandchildren.
