A come and go memorial service for longtime Lamar resident, Maria G. Lopez will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, March 9, 2018 at the Willow Creek Park by the Gazebo.
Per Maria’s request cremation will take place and there will be no visitation.
Maria was born on December 11, 1957 at Syracuse, Kansas to Isidro and Socorro (Salazar) Lopez and passed away on March 4, 2018 at Prowers Medical Center at the age of 60.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Maria is survived by her children, Renee (Ruben) Reyes; Frances (Luis) Sanchez; Dolores (Bobby) Sweat; Sylvia Lopez and Leticia (Jorge) Guzman; grandchildren, Eze, Mariah, Angel, Ramon, Lorenzo, Salvador, Alex, Graciella, Marie, Lorena, Leonidis, Sammy, Roger (Aubrey) and Alonzo. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Isabel, Ignacio and Izaiah as well as other family and a host of friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
Services are under the direction of the Peacock Family.
