A funeral liturgy for longtime Lamar resident, Margarita Angela Lopez will be held at 10:00AM on Friday, September 27, 2019 at the Peacock Family Chapel with Deacon Allan Medina reciting. Inurnment will follow at the Riverside Cemetery in Lamar.
Per Margarita’s request cremation will take place.
Margarita was born on July 13, 1944 at Padua, Argentina to Eraclio and Margarita Lopez and passed away on September 20, 2019 at the Prowers Medical Center at the age of 75.
She is preceded in death by her son, Eric Abitia; her parents and her sister Irma Lopez.
Margarita is survived by her son, Bert Abitia of Lamar; grandchildren, Anique (Alejandro) Trejo of San Diego, CA and Alyssa Abitia of Lamar; her sister, Nelly Lopez and her brother Carlos Antonio Lopez both of Argentina. She is also survived by numerous other family and a host of friends.
