Lupe and Julie Adame
A joint mass of Christian burial for longtime Lamar residents, Lupe and Julie Adame will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 11:00AM at the St. Francis de Sales/Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Reverend Mariusz Wirkowski as celebrant. A rosary service will be held prior to the mass at 10:30AM with Rita Ybarra reciting.
Per Lupe and Julie’s request cremation has taken place and there was no visitation.
Julie was born on July 30, 1935 at Lamar, Colorado to Manuel and Lorriane (Martinez) Del Hierro and passed away on November 6, 2017 at her home in Lamar with her family by her side at the age of 82.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Manuel Del Hierro, Jr. and Frank Del Hierro and son-in-law, Robert Yates.
Lupe was born November 17, 1934 at Lamar, Colorado to Manuel and Josephine (Alba) Adame and passed away on November 18, 2017 at his home in Lamar with his family by his side at the age of 83.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Tony Adame, Richard Adame and Benny Adame and son-in-law, Robert Yates.
Lupe and Julie are survived by their daughter, Rose Ann Yates of Lamar and granddaughter, Crystal Richards of Denver, CO. They are also survived by Julie’s siblings, Yolanda Marquez of Brush, CO, Celia (Pat) Vega of Denver, CO, Gloria (Eloy) Gonzales of Littleton, CO and Mike (Ruth) Del Hierro of Highlands Ranch, CO and Lupe’s siblings, Ron (Marie) Adame of Scottsdale, AZ, Steve (Karen) Adame of Colorado Springs, CO and Delores (Jerry) LaDoucer of Dacono, CO as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Lamar Area Hospice either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
Services are under the direction of the Peacock Family.
