A celebration of life for Granada resident, Lois M. Dale, was held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 31st at Christ the King Fellowship Calvary Chapel located at 12015 Irma Drive in Northglenn, Colorado. Pastor Jim Zastrocky will be officiating. In honoring Lois’ wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a private family interment of the ashes at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado.
Lois was born on January 17, 1926 in Portland, Oregon to Rodney and Dorothy Burks and she passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at her home with her family by her side at the age of 89.
She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, her husband, Lester Elias Dale, her son, Richard Charles Dale, and her great-granddaughter Christy Kellett.
Lois is survived by her daughters, Shirley (Edward) Minnich of Commerce City, Colorado and Connie J. Medina of Granada; daughter-in-law Pam Dale of Denver, Colorado; grandchildren, David (Carole) Kellett, Kristin Kellett, Christine (Thomas) Sanchez, Tony (Jessica) Medina, Eric (Stacie) Dale, Russell Dale, Jennifer Dale and Jeff (Mona) Dale. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, her sister-in-law, Betty Dale of Lakewood, Colorado as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends.
