Lee A. Robinson aka Lester Hamon
A graveside celebration of life for longtime Lamar resident, Lee Allen Robinson better known as Lester Hamon to his family and friends was held at 2:00PM on Monday, August 17, 2015 at Fairmount Cemetery in the Veteran’s Section with Ian Blacker of the Lamar Christian Church officiating.
Visitation for Lester was held on Monday, August 17, 2015 from 8:00AM until 12:00PM at the Peacock Family Chapel.
Lester was born on January 29, 1940 at his family home, a little log cabin in Ferndale, Montana to Grant and Mamie (Gow) Robinson and passed away on August 10, 2015 at Memorial Hospital at the age of 75.
He is preceded in death by his parents; infant sister, Madalyn; brother, Zane Robinson; and sister, Colleen Nelson.
Lester is survived by his wife, Vanda Duncan of the family home in Lamar; daughters, Melanie Robinson Goodwin, Mechelle Robinson both of TN and Melissa Robinson Stiles of Kansas, and many grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Melvin Robinson of Post Falls, ID, Gwen Anderson, Babette Johnson and Annette McAnally all of Big Fork, MT as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends.
Les’ many loves were his family and friends. He was a master at wood working and restoring old vintage cars. Lee Allen also served in the United States Army. He will be missed by many and never forgotten. “No Les No More.”
