Larry Christopher Phillip Marez, Sr.
A mass of Christian burial for former Lamar, Colorado resident, currently of Maryville, Missouri Larry Marez, Sr. will be held at 10:00AM on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at the St. Francis de Sales/Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Reverend Mariusz Wirkowski as celebrant. A rosary service will be held prior to the mass at 9:30AM at the church with Deacon Allan Medina reciting. Interment will follow at 12:45PM at the Manzanola Mountainview Cemetery in Manzanola, Colorado.
Visitation for Larry will be held on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 from 1:00PM until 5:00PM at the Peacock Family Chapel.
Larry was born on November 17, 1953 at Fowler, Colorado to Joseph Bernie and Tillie (Vasquez) Marez and passed away on January 10, 2019 at his home in Maryville, Missouri at the age of 65.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Eufrocena Marez-Garcia, his parents and an infant brother, Charlie Marez.
Larry is survived by his children, Larry (Ana) Marez, Jr. of Lamar, Santiago (Fernanda) Garcia of Grand Junction, CO, Humberto (Maricela) Garcia, Maria Estella (Thomas Gomez) Aragon and Irene Aragon all of Lamar, twenty grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, George Marez of Lamar, and Ernest (Julie) Marez of Maryville, MO as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends.
Services are under the direction of the Peacock Family.
