Julian Jaime
A Mass of Christian Burial for longtime Lamar resident, Julian Jaime was held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at the St. Frances de Sales/Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Lamar. Reverend Charles Sena was the celebrant and at Rite of Committal followed in the Riverside Cemetery in Lamar, Colorado.
A rosary service was held at 9:30 AM Wednesday, April 18, 2012 also at the St. Frances de Sales/Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Lamar. Deacon Henry Wertin recited the rosary.
Visitation for Julian was held from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at the Peacock Family Chapel.
Julian was born on January 28, 1940 at Sheridan, Wyoming to Herman and Concepcion (Borunda) Jaime and passed away on April 12, 2012 at the Bent County Memorial Nursing Home in Las Animas, CO with his family by his side at the age of 72.
He is preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter; Alejandra Jaime, siblings; Helen Lucero and Jesse Jaime, nieces; Rachel Lucero and Judy Jaime and nephew; Manuel Jaime.
Julian is survived by his wife; Maria Jaime of the family home in Wiley, children; Gilbert (Amy) Jaime of Lamar, Lisa (Charles) Jaime-Robles of Fort Collins, CO, Stephanie (Charlie) Jaime of Denver, CO and Jessica (Douglas) Sellers of Loveland, CO, grandchildren; Adam, Joshua, Amy Renee, Chas, Anthony, Gabrielle and Kaelie. He is also survived by his brother; Rosendo (Mary) Jaime of Pueblo, sister; Ramona Herrera of Pueblo and a sister-in-law; Esperanza Jaime of Wiley as well as numerous other family and a host of friends.
