A Celebration of Life for longtime Wiley and Lamar area Farmer/Rancher, Johnnie Weber was held at 10:00AM on Monday, June 24, 2013 at the Wiley Church of God with Pastor Mike Schneider officiating. Interment followed in the Wiley Cemetery.
Visitation for Johnnie was held on Sunday, June 23, 2013 from 2:00PM until 4:00PM at the Peacock Family Chapel.
Johnnie was born on April 27, 1930 at Prowers County, Colorado to Christian Frederick and Mary Elizabeth (Weimer) Weber and passed away on June 19, 2013 at his home in Lamar with his family by his side at the age of 83.
He is preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter; Elisha Bamber, brothers; Jonah, Alec, Ben, Joe and Harvey as well as his sisters; Lydia Weber, Pauline Miller, Juanita Scott, Mary W. May and Ruby Perry.
Johnnie is survived by his wife; Marilyn Weber of the family home in Wiley, children; Nina (Norman) Moore, Sandee (Jack) Bamber all of Lamar, John (Ruthie Esgar) Weber of Wiley and Mike (Karen) Weber of Lamar, twelve grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings; Paul (Clara) Weber of Lamar and Sam (Jody) Weber of Los Lunas, NM.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Lamar Area Hospice and/or Wiley Church of God either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
