Joan Weimer
A celebration of life for longtime Wiley area resident, Joan Weimer will be held at 10:00AM on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at the Peacock Family Chapel with Mike Schneider of the Wiley Community Church officiating. Interment will follow at the Wiley Cemetery.
Visitation for Joan will be held from 1:00PM until 5:00 PM on Monday, February 5, 2018 at the Peacock Family Chapel.
Joan was born on January 23, 1938 at Denver, Colorado to Emanuel and Rella (Sims) Grauberger and passed away on February 1, 2018 at the Legacy in Lamar at the age of 80.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Weimer and her parents; her sisters Natalie Joan Grauberger and Wanda Weatherred.
Joan is survived by her three daughters, Maralyn (Jay) Sneller of Wiley; Diane (Dave) Reyher of Buena Vista, CO and Linda (Dave) Burns of Phoenix, AZ; five grandchildren, Ryan (Angel) Sneller of Lamar; Audrey (Jason Lucius) Bauer of Wiley; Tennille (Emmett) Nelson of Laramie, WY, Nolan Reyher of Xiamen, China and Cory (Kimberly) Burns of Phoenix, AZ and 9 great-grandchildren; Austin, Courtney, Brendan, Jayce, Nate, Evie, Leif, Finn and Olivia. Joan is also survived by her siblings; Erma Beck of Delta, CO, Mary Griffin of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Jeannie (Jessie) Eddy of Parma, Idaho and Dean (Carol) Grauberger of Topeka, KS as well as her sister-in-law Lorraine Schleining of Wiley. Also surviving are numerous other relatives and many friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Wiley Church of God or to the Lamar Area Hospice either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
Services are under the direction of the Peacock Family.
