Jasen Jameson

Jasen "Jase, Jamo, Pops" Daniel Jameson, age 50, of Pueblo West Colorado passed away of sudden and natural causes on Monday, March 6, 2023.

He was a 1991 graduate of Lamar High School where he was loved by all and a standout athlete in football, basketball and baseball, with 3 State Baseball Championships to show for it. Following high school he received full-ride scholarships to Trinidad State Junior College and The University of Arkansas. He earned 1st team All American Honors at shortstop for the Trojans and excelled at hitting and played 3rd base for the Razorbacks. Jasen attained a degree in Business Administration. He had a 23 year career with Farmers Insurance, and for the last 2 years he was with KHS Global Solutions. He thoroughly enjoyed his new job and the great people he worked with.

No one who met Jasen could forget his infectious humor and love for sports (especially ND football) but if you asked him what his greatest passion was, it was that of being a father. The best times of his life were spent playing with, coaching, and watching his kids in any and every activity from Spelling B's to State and National Championships. They were the greatest joy of his life.

Jasen is survived by his loving children Bailee, Luke, And Kyle (Lorene), his father Kenny (Maria), brother Chris, sister Angie (Brian) DuVall along with many nieces, nephews, Aunts and Uncles. He is preceded in death by his devoted mother, Bonnie.

A memorial service will be held Friday March 17th 10:30am at Oasis Christian Church 347 S. Del Norte Ave. Pueblo West. A Celebration of Life to follow at the Eagles in Pueblo West from 12-3pm.

Jasens' ashes will be spread at a later date by his children (per his request) at Taylor Lake, where he had great memories with lifelong friends and family.
