Jane Borns
A celebration of life for longtime Kit Carson resident, Jane Borns will be held at 10:00AM on Monday, October 8, 2018 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Kit Carson, Colorado with Pastor Bill Viergutz officiating. Interment will follow at the Kit Carson Cemetery.

Visitation for Jane will be held from 1:00PM until 3:00PM on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at the Peacock Family Chapel and Monday, October 8, 2018 from 9:00AM until time of service.

Jane was born on July 21, 1932 at Lamar, Colorado to Charley Wesley and Gladys Oney (Downing) Barnhart and passed away on October 3, 2018 at the Lamar Estates Nursing Home in Lamar at the age of 86.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond D. Borns; her parents; son-in-law, Perry Middleton; her grandson, Wesley Chase Borns and her siblings, Helen Colvin and Ralph Barnhart.

Jane is survived by her children, Shirley (Mike) Morlan of Kit Carson, CO; Beverly Middleton of Lamar and Gary (Tricia) Borns of Hugo, CO; eight grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church in Kit Carson, Colorado either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
