A memorial service for former Lamar resident, and current
Pueblo, CO resident, James Donald Evans will be held at 3:00PM on Friday, December 10, 2010 at the Peacock Funeral Home with Ian Blacker of the Lamar Christian Church officiating.
Per James’ request cremation took place and there will be no visitation.
James was born on October 3, 1946 at Owsley County, Kentucky to Carl Ray and Verna B. (Dooley) Evans and passed away on December 6, 2010 at
Pueblo, Colorado at the age of 64.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
James is survived by his wife Donna Evans of the family home in Pueblo, Colorado, sons; Chris (Melanie) Evans of
Owasso, Oklahoma and Brad (Callie) Evans of Lamar, and grandchildren; Abigail, Skyler, Amber, Zachary, Cayden and Aila Evans. Numerous other family and a host of friends also survive.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
