A celebration of life for longtime Lamar resident, Glenna J. Parker was held at 2:00PM on Friday, March 25, 2016 at the Peacock Family Chapel with Steve Knobbe officiating. A private family graveside followed at the Fairmount Cemetery.
Visitation for Glenna was held on Thursday, March 24, 2016 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at the Peacock Family Chapel.
Glenna was born on February 25, 1934 at Lamar, Colorado to Burt and Ida May (Andrews) Frey and passed away on March 22, 2016 at her home in Lamar with her family by her side at the age of 82.
She is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Cecil Parker and her significant other, Joe Mason.
Glenna is survived by her children, John (Sherri) Parker of Fort Smith, AR; Kathy (Eddie) Idler; David (Lori) Parker and Mike (Jonna) Parker all of Lamar; eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Eldon (Kay) Frey of Lamar and Harlan (Cathy) Frey of Georgetown, TX as well as numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lamar Area Hospice either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
