A come and go memorial service for longtime Lamar resident, Fern E. Stokke will be held from 2:00PM until 5:00PM on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at The Weltha Plummer Memorial Garden Room at Lamar Area Hospice.
Per Fern’s request cremation will take place and there will be no visitation.
Fern was born on March 20, 1928 at Alvarado, Minnesota to Gerald Farnsworth and Kaia (Cristofferson) Bosard and passed away on December 14, 2017 at her home in Lamar at the age of 89.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Stokke; daughter, Daphne Stokke and her parents.
Fern is survived by her children, Pam (Dave) Leathers of Camas, WA; Kris Stokke of Lamar; Kimber (Shane) Harless of Fountain, Colorado and Kristjaan “Kritch” (Mary Lou) Stokke of Atkinson, NE as well as eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Jackie Reilly Hoff of Mesa, AZ as well numerous other family and a host of friends.
