Felix P. Gonzales

A Mass of Christian Burial for longtime Lamar resident, Felix P. Gonzales will be held at 10:00AM on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at the St. Francis de Sales/ Our lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Reverend Kenny Joe Palingayans'S.S.S. as celebrant. A rosary service will be held prior to the mass at 9:30AM with Deacon Allan Median reciting. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery. 

Visitation for Felix will be held on Monday, July 15, 2024 from 2:00PM until 4:00PM at the Peacock Family Chapel. 

Felix was born on July 1, 1940 at Las Vegas, New Mexico to Felix and Josefina (Giron) Gonzales and passed way on July 8, 2024 at his home in Lamar with his family by his side at the age of 84. 

He is preceded in death by his wife Christine Gonzales, his parents; grandchildren, Josiah Guevara and Olivia Grace Gonzales and eight siblings. 

Felix is survived by his children, Patrick Gonzales, Gloria (Michael) Raymond and Dee (Mike) Perales all of Lamar and Crystal (Jarrod) Valerio of La Junta, CO; fifteen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild on the way. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends.
