Elvira Vasquez Aleman
A mass of Christian burial for longtime Lamar resident, Elvira Aleman will be held at 10:00AM on Friday, August 25, 2017 at the St. Francis de Sales/Our Lady Guadalupe Catholic Church with Reverend Mariusz Wirkowski officiating. A rosary service will be held prior to the mass at 9:30AM with Elena Gomez reciting. Interment will be held at the Goodland Cemetery in Goodland, Kansas on Friday, August 25, 2017 at 2:30PM.
Visitation for Elvira will be held from 5:00PM until 7:00PM on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at the Peacock Family Chapel.
Elvira was born on November 26, 1930 at Comstock, Texas to Gavino and Maria A. (Saldivar) Vasquez and passed away on August 19, 2017 at the Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo, Colorado at the age of 86.
She is preceded in death by her children, Miguel Aleman, Alberto Aleman and Eloisa Rodriguez and her parents.
Elvira is survived by her children, Celia Salcedo and Erlinda Gomez of Lamar, Inez Antillon of El Paso, TX and Daniel Aleman of Sterling, CO, 19 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She is survived by her sister, Maria Vasquez as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Services are under the direction of the Peacock Family.
