A funeral liturgy service for longtime Lamar resident, Eleanor A. Franco, will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday December 4, 2019 at the Peacock Family Chapel in Lamar with Reverend Mariusz Wirkowski officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairmount Cemetery in Lamar.
Per Eleanor’s request there will be no public visitation.
Eleanor was born on April 19, 1922 in Lamar to Manuel and Lucianna Adame and departed this life on Monday December 2, 2019 at the Lamar Estates Nursing Home at the age of 97.
Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents; by two daughters – Connie Franco and Elizabeth Herndon; as well as by five brothers and four sisters.
Eleanor is survived by five children – Joe (Victoria) Franco of Denver; Mary Ann (Grant) Perry of Oklahoma City, OK; Irene (Jim) Frey of Yardley, PA; Linda (George) Vallejos of Lamar; and Mike (Mary Lynn) Franco of Denver; by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as by numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Lamar Area Hospice either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
