Douglas was born on July 25, 1965 at Lamar, Colorado to Jerry and Doris (Orr) Smith and passed away on May 16, 2024 at Hays, Kansas at the age of 58.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Douglas is survived by his siblings Terry (Roseanne) Smith and Donna Smith, fiancé Raven Wolfe as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.
