Dornella Catherine Caddick
A celebration of life for longtime Lamar resident, Dornella Catherine Caddick was held at 9:30 AM on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at the Peacock Family Chapel with Reverend Roy Gueswel officiating. Interment followed at the Fort Lyon National Cemetery in Fort Lyon, Colorado.
Visitation for Dornella was held on Monday, July 18, 2016 from 3:00PM until 7:00PM at the Peacock Family Chapel.
Dornella was born on October 5, 1927 at Springfield, Colorado to Sanford and Rachel (Fisher) Brisendine and passed away on July 13, 2016 at the Porter Adventist Hospital in Denver, Colorado at the age of 88.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Everett Caddick, her parents and three brothers, Lynam Brisendine, Oswald and Arvill Hodges.
Dornella is survived by her children, Linda (Terry) Eder of Eads, CO; Gary (Nyleca) Caddick of Lamar; Eugene (Kathy) Caddick of Brighton, CO and Ronald (Rod) Caddick-Stone of Commerce City, CO; 8 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Neva Kirby of Pueblo, CO; Mary Barnes of Canon City, CO and Omer Brisendine of Jefferson City, MO as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends also survive.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
