Doris V. Coder
A celebration of life funeral service for lifetime Holly resident, Doris V. Coder, was held at 2:00 PM Monday April 11, 2016 at the Living Hope Fellowship Church in Holly with Pastor Rick Beard officiating. Burial followed in the Holly Cemetery.
Visitation for Doris was held from 10:00 AM to service time on Monday at the Living Hope Fellowship Church in Holly.
Doris V. Coder was born on June 11, 1923 in Garden City, Kansas to Francis and Myrtle (Boland) Worf and departed this life on Friday April 8, 2016 at the Holly Nursing Care Center at the age of 92.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents; by her husband-Clarence H. Coder; one granddaughter – Andrea Haddock; by three brothers – Ernest Worf; Ralph Worf; and Billy Worf; as well as by two sons-in-law – Dale Hess and Keith Davis.
Doris is survived by four daughters – Charlotte (Wesley) Pack of Lovington, NM; Connie Hess of Holly; Diana Davis of Holly; and Janet (Larry) Haddock of Wellington, TX; by eight grandchildren; sixteen and a half great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and a host of friends.
Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Holly Fire and Ambulance or to the Lamar Area Hospice either directly or through the funeral home office.
