Dolores A. Granados
A Memorial Mass for lifetime Lamar resident, Dolores A. Granados was held at 10:00AM on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at the St. Francis de Sales/Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Stephen Olamolu as the celebrant. A rosary service was held prior to the mass at 9:30AM at the church with Deacon Allan Medina reciting. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
Per Dolores’ request cremation took place and there was no visitation.
Dolores was born on February 7, 1948 at Lamar, Colorado to Frank and Margaret (Valdez) Ybarra and passed away on December 24, 2015 at the Lamar Estates at the age of 67.
She is preceded in death by her parents; four sisters and three brothers.
Dolores is survived by her husband of fifty years, Manuel Granados of the family home in Lamar; five daughters, Barbara (Tom) Romero of Pueblo; Sandy (Eddie) Villa of Lamar; Georgiann (Julius) Belton of Katy, TX; Trisha (Devin) Phillips of Johnstown, CO and Tiffany (Antonio) Pizania of Lamar; fourteen grandkids and nine great-grandkids. She is also survived by her six brothers and two sisters as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lamar Area Hospice either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
