A funeral service for former Holly resident and current Aurora Resident, Coy B. Marriott was held at 10 AM Thursday September 24, 2015 at the Peacock Family Chapel in Lamar. Burial followed in the Fairmount Cemetery in Lamar.
Visitation for Coy was held from 8:00 AM to service time on Thursday at the Peacock Family Chapel.
Coy B Marriott was born on October 8, 1923 on a homestead south of Lamar to James Clifford Marriott and Lela Jane Mendenhall-Marriott and departed this life on Friday September 18, 2015 at The Medical Center of Aurora in Aurora, Colorado at the age of 91.
Coy was preceded in death by his parents, by his wife Betty M. Smith-Marriott of 56 years; by three brothers – Wayne Marriott and Floyd Marriott, Paul Marriott. two sisters: Erma Cathcart and Virgie Syliva.
Coy B. Marriott is survived by one daughter – Barbara Marriott of Aurora; by one son – Coy ( Diane) Marriott, Jr. of Buena Vista; by three grandchildren – Michael Marriott of Las vegas Nv, Mandy (TJ) Well of Fort Lupton Co, Todd (Heidi) Marrriott of Kit Carson; Great grandchildren: Aaron Marriott, Cheyenne Wells, Mason, Keyton and Mckenna Marriott, 1 sister – Muriel Huffaken of Vancouver, British Columbia; as well as by numerous nieces, nephews.
