A Celebration of Life was held at 10:00 AM, Monday, December 22, 2014 at the Lamar Christian Church with Mike Lewis and Ian Blacker officiating. Interment followed at Riverside Cemetery.
Visitation for Connie washeld on Sunday, December 21, 2014 from 3:00PM until 6:00PM at the Peacock Family Chapel.
Connie was born on September 28, 1942 at Wichita, Kansas to Leo M. and Helen (Greenfield) Specht and passed away on December 16, 2014 at the Cheyenne Manor in Cheyenne Wells, Colorado with her family by her side at the age of 72.
She is preceded in death by her first husband; James Markle and her father; Leo M. Specht.
Connie is survived by her husband; Jim Adame of Lamar, children; Janette (Gary) Wollert of Eads, CO, Donna Adame of Katy, TX and Richard Markle of Manhattan, KS, seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her mother; Helen Specht and her siblings; Madge Purvis of Weskin, KS, Leo Max (Kathy) Specht of Sheridan Lake, CO, David Specht of Wichita, KS, Lyle (Kathy) Specht of Brandon, CO, Barbara Notestine and Ken (Shirley) Specht all of Lamar, Janice (Dean) McElroy of Greeley, CO and Dale (Darla) Specht of Lamar, numerous nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends also survive.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cheyenne Manor either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
