Clyde "Bud" Bell, Jr.
A memorial service for longtime Lamar resident, Clyde "Bud" Bell, Jr. was held on Monday July 18, 2011 at 9:00 AM at the Peacock Family Chapel with Ian Blacker of the Lamar Christian Church officiating. A private family interment will be held at a later date.
Per Bud's request, cremation took place and there was no public visitation.
Bud was born on October 28, 1917 at Canon City, Colorado to Clyde W. and Nelle (Halstead) Bell, Sr. and passed away on July 12, 2011 at the Holly Nursing Care Center in Holly, Colorado at the age of 93.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a daughter - Mary Ann Bamber.
Bud is survived by his wife - Barbara Bell of Lamar; by one son - Billy (Cindy) Bell of Imperial Beach, California; by three grandchildren - Brett, Brian, and Gycell; as well as by his three great grandchildren.
Services are under the direction of the Peacock Family, providing our neighbors with four generations of trust and service.
