Cirilo Silva
A funeral liturgy memorial service for lifetime Granada resident, Cirilo Silva will be held at 10:00AM on Friday, May 19, 2017 at the Peacock Family Chapel with Stan Ybarra officiating. Inurnment will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
Per Cirilo’s request cremation will take place and there will be no visitation.
Cirilo was born on July 9, 1924 at Lakin, Kansas to Pedro Silva and Josephina Garcia and passed away on May 9, 2017 at home in Granada, Colorado at the age of 92.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Louise Silva, his parents and his step-mom Calletana Jimenez, one daughter, Lydia Ann Silva and his siblings, Maurillo Silva, Theodore Sanchez, Timotea Hernandez and Mary Otero.
Cirilo is survived by his sons, James F. Silva of Pueblo, Ronald L. Silva of Granada, Paul A. Silva of Lamar and Daniel J. Silva of Granada; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Tony (Nellie) Garcia of Holly, Thomas (Phyllis) Silva of Lamar, Lawrence (Tiny) Silva of Granada, Jack (Vicky) Silva of Lamar, Delores (Jerry) Marshall of Garden City, Kansas and Maggie (Ron) O’Neal of Eads as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cirilo Silva Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home office.
