Cecil Edward Watson, Jr.
A memorial service for longtime Lamar resident, Cecil E. Watson, Jr., affectionately known to his wife as “Schnookums” and Eddie to his family and friends, was held at 11:00AM on Friday, November 18, 2016 at the Living Covenant Fellowship with Pastor Rick Beard officiating. Military Honors under the auspices of the Local V.F.W. and American Legion Posts were held following the services at the church.
Per Edwards’s request cremation has taken place place and there was no visitation.
Edward was born on September 6, 1953 at Hanford, California to Cecil Edward Watson, Sr. and Ramona Osban and passed away on November 11, 2016 at Prowers Medical Center in Lamar at the age of 63.
He is preceded in death by his father, Cecil Edward Watson, Sr. and daddy Bud Dickerson.
Edward is survived by his wife, Deb Watson of the family home in Lamar; children, Trina (Keith) Dodson of Phoenix, AZ; Anne DiBiasio; Jennifer Watson and Krista (Kia) Currell all of Lamar; grandchildren, Steven Warren, Amanda Warren, Joshua Warren, Morgan Osborn, Debbie DiBiasio, Justin DiBiasio and Claire Currell and eight great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother Ramona Dickerson of Guymon, OK; siblings, Robin Williams and Tammy Ganci both of Guymon, OK; Guy (Denise) Dickerson of Mustang, OK; Gary Dickerson of Lamar and Karen Dickerson-Shuff of Sterling, CO as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lamar Area Hospice either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
