Candelaria T. “Candy” Lopez
A celebration of life for longtime Lamar resident, Candelaria T. Lopez, affectionately known as Candy, will be held at 1:00PM on Monday, August 13, 2018 at the Peacock Family Chapel with Pastor Mark Viar officiating. Interment will be held at Riverside Cemetery.
Visitation for Candy will be held on Monday, August 13, 2018 from 9:00AM until the time of service at the Peacock Family Chapel.
Candy was born on October 25, 1942 at Tecolote, New Mexico to Guadalupe and Elvira (Pacheco) Trujillo and passed away on August 8, 2018 at her home in Lamar with her family by her side at the age of 75.
She is preceded in death by her son, Manuel Armijo, her parents, grandson, Phillip Munoz, two sisters and one brother.
Candy is survived by her husband, Esteban Lopez of the family home in Lamar; children, Lawrence (Collean) Armijo of Fowler, Betty Fernandez of Lamar, Judy (Guillermo) Munoz of Wiley, Amelia Gomez (Luis Castro) of Greeley, CO and Kathy Munoz of Lamar. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and four sisters as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Candy Lopez Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home office.
