A memorial service for Holly and Lamar, CO resident, Calvin L. “Dink” Comer was held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at the Peacock Family Chapel with Jan Hall officiating.
Per Calvin’s request cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation.
Calvin was born on November 2, 1931 at Holly, Colorado to Calvin Robart and Emma Evelyn Comer and passed away on November 29, 2014 at his home in Lamar at the age of 83 with his family by his side.
He is preceded in death by his parents, son; Lester Lee Comer, three brothers, five sisters and his father-in-law.
Calvin is survived by his wife; Dorothy Comer of the family home in Lamar, children; Leonard Eugene (Sally) Comer of Lamar, Rhonda Jean (Lou) Comer-Lunsford of Springtown, TX, Mark DeWayne (Shawny) Comer of Lamar, CO, Harold Riley “HR” (Terry) Comer of Sugar City, ID, Susan Irene Comer of Ft. Worth, TX, Calvin Ronald (Jessica) Comer of Weskan, KS and Kimberly Michelle (Steve) Phillips of Wiley, CO. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren as well as numerous, nieces, nephews, other family and a host friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lamar Area Hospice either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
