A Celebration of Life for longtime Lamar resident, Betty E. Canfield was held at 2:00PM, Friday, July 29, 2011 at the Peacock Family Chapel with Drew Meyer of the Lamar Christian Church officiating.
Visitation for Betty was held from 1:00PM to 7:00PM on Thursday, July 28, 2011 at the Peacock Funeral Home.
Mrs. Canfield was born on July 8, 1929 at Two Buttes, Colorado to Everett M. and Annie (Holmes) Bland and passed away at
Juniper
Village at Lamar on July 23, 2011 at the age of 82.
She is preceded in death by her parents, step-mother; Irene Bland and her sisters; Barbara Reandeau and Laura Jane Brierley.
Betty is survived by her husband Cecil Canfield of the family home in Lamar, children; Patty (Allen) Zamorsky of
Belton, TX, Dody (Eddy) Beeson of Signal Mountain, TN and Wanda Rohlman of Lamar. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, two sisters; Mary Ann Griggs of Liberal, KS and Edna Bennight of Hoooker, Oklahoma as well as her brother Gene (Vi) Bland of Prague, OK other relatives and many friends.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Lamar Area Hospice direct of in care of the funeral home office.
