A mass of Christian burial for longtime Granada resident, Armando Arturo Orozco-Chavarria will be held at 10:00AM on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at the St. Francis de Sales/Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Reverend Mariusz Wirkowski as celebrant. A rosary service will be held prior to the mass at the church at 9:30AM with Deacon Allan Medina reciting. Inurnment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Granada.
Per Armando’s request cremation will take place.
Armando was born on May 11, 1954 at Delicias, Chihuahua, Mexico to Jose Ines Orozco-Meza and Maria de Jesus Chavarria Rocha and passed away on March 26, 2019 at the Prowers Medical Center with his family by his side at the age of 64.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Armando is survived by his wife, Ana Maria Almaraz-Holguin, daughter, Ana Edith (Jesus Manuel Melendez) Orozco, grandchildren, Jesus Lorenzo (Josseline) Melendez, Amairini Vanessa (Francisco) Mejia and Nicole Malillani Melendez and great-grandchildren, Daleyza Paulina Melendez and Jesus Francisco Melendez all of Granada, Colorado. He is also survived by his siblings, Marta Orozco, Yolanda Orozco, Patricia Orozco, Araceli Orozco, Ana Isabel Orozco, Gabriela Orozco, Juana Orozco, Ines Orozco, Fernando Orozco, Gerardo Orozco, Jesus Orozco, Carlos Orozco, Felix Orozco and Marco Orozco as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends.
Services are under the direction of the Peacock Family.
