Antonia V. Carrillo
A Mass of Christian Burial for longtime Lamar resident, Antonia V. Carrillo was held at 10:00 AM Monday, April 29, 2013 at St. Francis de Sales/Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Henry Aguwa as the Celebrant. Deacon Henry Wertin recited the Rosary at 9:30 AM also at the church. Interment followed the mass at Riverside Cemetery.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 28, 2013 from 1:00PM until 4:00PM at the Peacock Family Chapel.
Antonia was born on February 17, 1928 at Laredo, Texas to Pablo and Elena (Macias) Villarreal and passed away on April 25, 2013 at Juniper Village at Lamar with her family by her side at the age of 85.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Filiberto Carrillo, sons; Americo and Humberto Carrillo, daughters; Yolanda Carrillo and Maria Elena Gil and her sister; Fayita Carrillo.
She is survived by her sons; Filiberto Carrillo Jr., Rogelio “Rocky” (Lupe) Carrillo all of Lamar, Americo (Kathy) Carrillo of Albuquerque, NM, daughters; Guadalupe (Remijio) Garcia of Seminole, TX, Santa Carrillo of Lamar, Elia (Marcelino) Pauda of Ulysses, KS, Alicia Carrillo and Pat Carrillo both of Lamar and Mary (Ricardo) Cabello of Lubbock, TX, siblings; Jose Villarreal of St. Paul, MN, Juan Mesa and Maria Robles both of Carrizo Springs, TX. She is also survived by her fifty-four grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren as well as other family and a host of friends.
