Anthony “Tony” Dobos
A celebration of life memorial service for longtime Lamar resident, Anthony “Tony” Dobos, was held at 2:00 PM Friday February 21, 2014 at the Peacock Family Chapel in Lamar.
Visitation for Anthony was held from 9:00 AM to service time on Friday Februar 21, 2014 at the Peacock Family Chapel in Lamar.
Anthony Dobos was born on December 8, 1933 to Anthony Dobos and Marilyn (Stegman) Dobos in Owasso, Michigan and departed this life on Monday February 17, 2014 at Prowers Medical Center in Lamar at the age of 80.
Mr. Dobos is preceded in death by his parents, by one son – Dan Dobos; and by two siblings – Frank Dobos and Josephine Dobos.
Tony is survived by his wife Barbara Stuart of Lamar; by four children – Colleen, Pam, Mark, and Tony; by three step-children – Larry, Rhonda, and Danny; by one sister – Ruth Elliot of Florida; by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as by other relatives and a host of friends.
Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Lamar Area Hospice either direct or in care of the Peacock Funeral Home.
