A Service of Celebration for longtime Lamar resident, Anna Belle Camp was held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church of Lamar with Reverend Steven Thomas officiating. Interment followed at
Fairmount
Cemetery.
Visitation for Ms. Camp was held on Tuesday, December 22, 2009 from 1:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Peacock Funeral Home.
Anna Belle was born at Fowler, Colorado on July 24, 1923 to Frank and Edith (Sphoon) Sorensen and passed away following a short illness on December 19, 2009 at Penrose Hospital in Colorado Springs at the age of 86.
She is preceded in death by her husband Clarence E. Camp on February 13, 1992, parents, sisters; Cindy Noble and Mary Smith, a brother Bob Sorensen and a niece Pat May.
Anna Belle is survived by her daughter Connie Jacobsen of Lamar and her son Warren (Dana) Camp also of Lamar. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Kellie (Jerry) Hoff, Kris Jacobsen, Faith and Tess Camp as well as her siblings; Doris Reyher of Lamar, Helen Crabtree of Yuma, AZ, Frances Denney of Fowler, and Bill (Gaye) Sorensen of Somerton, AZ.Numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends also survive.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Macular Degeneration Center of Colorado in care of the funeral home office.
